The Goshen voices of the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, celebrated her fifth year anniversary on Friday, the 15th of June 2018 at the Grace Hall located at the church’s headquarters.

Perhaps more than any other group in the church, he Goshen voices have contributed to the awakening of a lively spirit in the youths of the church. The group was established on the 5th of May 2013 and has been doing well ever since. The fifth year anniversary is a long awaited event with its publicity everywhere months before. Invitations were sent to various ministers, groups and also the prestigious University of the church; Mountain Top University.

On the morning of the event, guests arrived and activities to coordinate and organize the auditorium took place. The leader of the Goshen voices, Tolulope gave the concept of the program as a way to make all persons celebrate Jesus for taking them this far and for what he has done through them. He stated that this would be the first time celebrating something like this. He disclosed that their purpose has always been to win souls for Christ through music.

Temitope Adepoju, popularly known as Tope Sax was one of the invited guests and she described the Goshen voices as a group that dishes out “good gospel vibes”. She stated that MFM is a church that has majorly classical singing groups and few contemporary groups in which Goshen is one. According to her, the Goshen voices give a mentality that we can praise God to our taste without uttering sinful words. Pastor Ladejola Abiodun, one of the Assistant General Overseers was present with his wife to represent the General overseer and to also grace the occasion. He led with the opening prayer and the program kicked off at exactly 2:30pm. Among those that performed were the Mountain Top University Chorus, The dancing Levites, Covenant amp& his crew and a host of others. “This should be the best concert ever because the host, their publicity, organization and preparation have raised our hopes”, said a member of the church’s guitar choir. Mr. Adewale explained that the theme “Rebirth” marks a new beginning just like when Jesus gives believers grace.

Conclusively, for Elizabeth Adejoke, a close friend to the Goshen Voices, the program was an interesting one to remember. It is an event anyone will attend as well as pulling along a second and third wheel if organized next time!
