Arsenal & Liverpool alerted as Schalke admit Meyer set for summer switch
The Germany international has opted against entering into contract extension talks, forcing his current club to accept that he is destined to move on
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have been alerted to the news that Schalke are prepared to concede defeat in their efforts to keep Max Meyer.
The highly rated 22-year-old has spent his entire career to date with a club who nurtured him through their academy system.
Schalke had been hoping, after five years of senior football and close to 200 appearances, that an agreement could be reached to keep the Germany international on their books.
